Event Details: Emotional Intelligence:   A high IQ doesn’t necessarily translate into academic, career or social success.  The most accurate predictor of success is emotional intelligence or EQ — the capacity to understand one’s self and others and apply that understanding effectively in real world situations.  This workshop will cover the components of EQ, why it’s essential, ways to increase it, and how to leverage it to enhance success in all areas of life.  Free of charge. Event: Sermon entitled Practical Spirituality

Date/Time: Sunday, May 30th, 10:30 am

Where: Unitarian Universalist Church, 114 Main Street, Kennebunk, ME

Event Details:    It’s easiest to “let go and allow” when you trust that there is Something Greater to handle your troubles.  But what if you aren’t sure what Something Greater is or whether Something Greater even exists?  This sermon is for anyone who wants to take a pragmatic approach to faith and trust that all is well in the face of mystery and uncertainty.

Event Details:  The theme of this year’s annual convention is “If HR Ruled the World.”  Amy Wood, Psy.D. will present “Full Focus in a Fast-paced World,” a lunchtime roundtable workshop designed to help HR executives maintain a sense of control and concentration amid the increasingly frantic pace of modern life and work .   The convention runs May 11th – 14th.  Registration information to be announced.
